Upcoming Events

• Camp at Lonavala – 24th to 28th October – for all children not covered by Magic Bus.

• Exposure Visit to Nehru Science Center & Planetarium – in November – for all children between 6th to 10th stds.

• Trip to Hanging Gardens/Zoo – in December – for all 1st and 2nd std. children.

• Trip to Aarey Milk Colony – in December – for all 3rd and 4th std. children from Chandanwadi, Bhuleshwar and Bandra Centers.

Community Development

After an exhaustive survey of areas such as Masjid, Nagpada, Byculla and Raey Road by our team of community workers, we have taken on 50 new children at our study center at Bhuleshwar - age group between 8 to 13 years - to prepare them for direct admissions into formal schools depending on their age and aptitude. We believe that given the right opportunities, these children are competent to take on the challenge and perform well in their studies.

Resource Generation

• Infomedia donated English learning books in bulk valued at over Rs.1,00,000/-.

• JM Morgan Stanley arranged a walkathon on 25.9.05 and 21 children from Sunbeam participated in the same. Sunbeam was chosen as one of the recipient organizations for funds raised from this program.
